Missing Queens Woman Found 1,500 Miles Away In Dallas, Texas

HOLLIS, QUEENS (WPIX)?

Rajwinder Kaur, 26, was found in Dallas, Texas after nearly a week of her initial disappearance.

She was last seen in Hollis, Queens around 8 p.m. before her sister received a cryptic text message from Rajwinder's phone that said "the owner of this phone is dead, was smiling" just two hours later.

Reports show Kaur may have gone to Texas to escape an arranged marriage, but the family denies these claims. She was also said to have sold most of her possessions before disappearing.

The family sent an email statement saying, "The alarming text message was our biggest concern and we are just relieved that she is alive and well."
