You will you blog posts and articles and Tweets and all forms of exercise and fitness related comments on an hourly basis. many of them will pose questions like ?Is a weightlifter stronger then a powerlifter? and offer inane reason why (or why not) and other arguments about deadlifting 405lbs once vs. 200lbs 50 time. There are two points I?m going to go with on all of this; Did you do either? I watched some guys work there arms for 20 solid minutes one day while I was working at! I could Tweet about what a waste it is, but why do I care? They did have really good arms. I don?t want to do 20 minutes of arms and I don?t train anyone that way; but is it wrong? Will they get hurt? What if they like their arms? What if they date girls who really like arms? I did my workout and they did theirs?period! Don?t like kipping pullups? Don?t do them..but are you doing any pull ups? Don?t want to run 26.2 miles; don?t? but don?t talk shit about people who can do it in 3 hours flat.
So what are the two things?
1) What have you done today to make yourself or your life any better?
2) Can you do what someone else is doing better than them?
Stop looking for something that isn?t there. Stop waiting for the ?perfect? workout/dvd/trainer/drug to come along..it isn?t going to. Do something today and do something more tomorrow and keep doing that until you get to where you want to be.
