Five members of the Taylor clan left the family they knew in Idaho Falls to pursue job opportunity. They did their research, looking for places in the US where job growth was the strongest. They moved to the town of Bend, believing that Oregon?s economy would help stabilize their finances.
Off to a slow start, the Taylors dropped by The Salvation Army food pantry for some vegetables and meat. While they were there, they learned about all the other wonderful opportunities available to each member of the family, according to their interests and stage of life.

? 10 year-old Scott likes games, especially board games. Being a part of the weekly kids activities and camp in the summer means he can play board games to his heart?s content.
? The youngest, 7 year-old Heather is a die hard crafter. She loves to make posters, flowers and artsy stuff of any kind! The Salvation Army church in Bend gives her a place to create.
Mom Linda was looking for a place where she and her kids could grow their spiritual lives together. She feels they?ve found it at The Salvation Army. As the kids learn about God?s promises and dig into the Bible, they talk differently to eachother, to Linda and even to their friends.
