Chloe Magee stamps her mark over Line Kjaersfeldt in second round battle at Yonex Dutch Open 2012

Ireland?s upcoming female player Chloe Magee delivered a spectacular performance on court and powered her way into Women?s Singles quarter-final after throwing out Denmark?s Line Kjaersfeldt in second round battle of Yonex Dutch Open 2012 on Thursday, October 11, in Netherlands.

The in-form Chloe, who is the sixth seeded player in Women?s Singles draw of the championship, did not show any sign of pressure in the pre-quarter-final battle and easily stamped her mark over her lower ranked challenger Line in a crushing manner.

Chloe was at her best on court as she played with confidence and kept her opponent under pressure all the way to claim victory in a remarkable way by finishing off the match in two games with a stunning margin in just 30 minutes.

In the meanwhile, the un-seeded Line failed to show her elevated craft on court as she executed many negative shots and remained struggling throughout the battle and lost it without taking any set.

Chloe did not find an ideal start in the first round of the tournament as she remained struggling at the initial stage and also committed unforced errors.

However, the spirited Line could not control the pace of rallies and lost her domination in the game as her challenger lifted up her level of play and took a reasonable lead of 11-8 until the end of first half.

After the one-minute break, Chloe continued showing up her elevated skills as she did not let her Danish rival to catch up the gap on score board and managed to claim the set with a 21-16 score on the board.

In the following set, Chloe was on a different level as she played aggressive badminton and took an incredible lead of 11-2 until the one-minute break.

After the mid-game interval, the in-form Irish lady continued her staggering performance as she did not lose her focus and managed to wrap up the set with a dominating 21-12 score on the board.

The impressive Chloe won this pre-quarter-final clash in a completely dominating fashion in 30 minutes with a striking difference of 21-16 and 21-12.
