Enterprise Fleet Management, a sister company of Enterprise Holdings which operates Enterprise Rent-A-Car, currently has a new and exciting opportunity for an Automotive Maintenance Coordinator. This is a great way to bring your automotive knowledge into a professional environment!
The Automotive Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for negotiating and approving prices on tires and maintenance services with repair vendors that are on our Fleet Maintenance Program. The ideal candidate would possess automotive knowledge along with excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls on department?s 800 preventative maintenance line
- Recommend and authorize maintenance services to repair facilities and drivers
- Contact customers to advise and explain maintenance issues
- Negotiate tire pricing and maintenance costs
- Issue purchase orders to repair facilities
- Process repair invoices for payment
- Review tire requests to ensure correct application
- Review maintenance requests to avoid duplicated services
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications Include:
- High School Diploma required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- Previous experience in a lube shop, tire shop, repair facility
- Technical knowledge of automotive maintenance
- Six months of customer service experience
- Previous 1 year experience in a repair facility or dealership preferred
- Basic PC knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic typing skills
- Automotive technology education, preferred
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications a plus
Qualified Candidates must possess the following skills/competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
- Ability to problem solve with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
